Francesco Argento joined UCSI Consulting Group in February 2015 to lead the UCSI Leadership Development Centre (ULDC). He has over eight years’ experience in various fields and industries with main focus on business development and general management. Started his career in Italy in the Health industry and subsequently in F&B with a very unique non-linear career path.
In 2010 he decided to explore Asia due to its dynamism and exceptional growth. He was selected by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for a three months programme in the commercial office of the Embassy of Italy in Malaysia and subsequently hired to set up and lead the newly Italian Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia. In 2012 he joined the former Ambassador of Italy to run his new Company, specialized in entry market strategy for European companies into South East Asian market. After 2 years of operations, Francesco was appointed by the same shareholders to expand the sales of a sister company in the digital sector for the Malaysian market.
Francesco’s core competencies include business development and sales, strategy formulation, market entry strategy as well as operations and start-ups. Ben is a seasoned international professional with 15+ years of business development and project management experience across 17 countries. He has held positions in executive and senior management across a variety of sectors: retail, international reciprocal trade, publishing, content production & media, and music & branding.
Most recently Ben was engaged by a Singapore-based music production company where he was tasked with a turnaround project. SIVANESUVARY APPUKUDDY is a former Deputy Director at the National Institute of Public Administration, (INTAN) Malaysia and former head of the INTAN Blue Ocean Strategy Centre. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honours and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the University of Malaya, and as an Administrative and Diplomatic Officer in the Malaysian Civil Service, has served in a number of ministries in the Malaysian public service since 1979.
Under INTAN, the training arm of the Public Service Department, she had been a trainer and consultant to various government sector agencies and had trained thousands of public servants in the field of Human Resource Development, Management, and Organizational Development. She hence has intimate knowledge of the workings of public services and also a wide network of official contacts. LUCIANO PEZZOTTA is an experienced management consultant with a strong background in business strategy and a particular focus on innovation management.
Luciano is Adjunct Faculty for Strategy and Innovation at ICLIF, an international, Asia-based center of excellence focused on leadership development and at SIM Professional Development, the executive education arm of the Singapore Institute of Management.

Benny Ong joined UCSI Consulting Group in November 2015 as a consultant. Previously he was with the Strategy Planning & Business Intelligence Team within the Group Strategy & Innovation in a listed multinational company. Being part of a large conglomerate structure, Benny has gained vast experiences across various industries and countries where his portfolio coverage included Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, Hong Kong and China.
Benny was responsible in Strategy Formulation and Execution for the organisation’s Corporate and Divisional Strategy Blueprints which involved much communication with C-Level Management. As a member of the Business Intelligence team, he was also responsible in the preparation of Market Analysis/Reports to reflect changes in the business environment as well as opportunities. MARTINI ABDUL AZIZ joined UCSI Consulting in January 2017 to lead the UCSI Professional Development Centre (UPDC). She has more than 15 years professional experience in international organization, government, government linked and corporate entities in areas of training, education, consultancy, and media facilitation. Some of the organizations she served include Maybank, Malaysia Airlines Engineering Training Centre, University of Malaya, and others.
Her most recent previous post was as Information and PR Officer (IPR) at Asian Productivity Organization, an intergovernmental non-profit organization in Japan. Martini oversaw the strategizing and energizing of APO communication and information dissemination across the Asia Pacific to increase engagement and visibility among stakeholders. She also liaised with country representatives of 19 APO member economies and international organizations (e.g. the ADB Bank and United Nations agencies) on APO strategic directions, namely NPO and SME development, innovation-led productivity growth and Green Productivity.

Hojiakbar started his career in 2011 in one of the leading business solutions provider companies in Uzbekistan as a financial analyst. ALFATANAH IBRAHIM recently joined UCSI Consulting Group in January 2016 as Associate. He graduated Bachelor of Aviation Management (Honours) from Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysian Institute of Aviation Technology. In completing his degree, he completed several projects including business plan for a new regional airline, economic analysis of ASEAN Single Aviation Market and marketing analysis of a new domestic airline.
He underwent his internship with Malaysia Airlines, where he was the leader for a Lean Six Sigma project focusing on the airline’s business process improvement. He was also given the trust to assist other interns in their project, focusing on data analytics and project management.
While pursuing his degree, he balanced his active involvement with the campus’ student society for aviation management students as the General Secretary with his involvement in volunteering across the country. He is a regular volunteer for Pertiwi Soup Kitchen KL and was a volunteer teacher with Taman Seri Puteri, Kuching, where he worked together with other volunteers and social worker to improve the academic performance of the trainees.
